Our Suites
The Suites are a gorgeous collection of spacious accommodations to let, for short or long-term stays. These Properties were built as homes for the original residents, and the unique experience of staying in a restored traditional Straits-Chinese Home cannot be found anywhere else in the world. There is a wonderful sense of nostalgia as you step into these rooms, and it is easy to imagine how their early inhabitants lived nearly a century ago.
The Suites comprise four separate spacious units, each with a floor space of approximately 50 square meters, or 500 square feet. They have been carefully restored, with much of their original character preserved, and are stylishly appointed with traditional Chinese furniture and antiques in keeping with the style of the era.
Suites on Ground Floor
These spacious ground floor suite, carefully renovated to preserve the original character of the traditional home, is suitable for two persons with a floor space of approximately 50 square meters / 500 square feet. A comfortably furnished common front sitting room leads into the private quarters, featuring a study and dressing room, a main bedroom with a queen size bed, and a private courtyard with a shower/ washroom and living area. Air-conditioning, flatscreen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, WiFi, mini fridge, mini safe, tea and coffee making facilities ensure guests’ complete comfort during their stay.
Suites on First Floor
These airy, loft-style residence, converted from the complete upper floor of this traditional home, has approximately 50 square meters / 500 square feet of space and are suitable for 3 people. From the comfortably furnished common front sitting room downstairs, a short but steep flight of stairs leads up to the private quarters, with a large master bedroom with a king size bed, an additional bedroom with a single bed, and with an open style washroom / shower. Air-conditioning, flatscreen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, WiFi, mini fridge, mini safe, tea and coffee making facilities ensure guests’ complete comfort during their stay.
